[Also in Group XI] A lighter tank 1 is filled by pressing the tip of an aerosol spray nozzle into the conical part 3, so displacing a closure-member 9 from a rubber seat 7 and allowing liquid gas to flow into the tank 1 via bores 10, 11 in the closure stem 5. An annular absorber ring 6 of cardboard or sintered metal around the stem 5 permits the escape therethrough of air or air-gas mixture from the tank 1 but prevents the passage of liquid-gas.
