Abstract

Polypropylene textiles are dyed with a solution preferably a benzene solution, of the reaction product of tetracyanoethylene and indole, and then treated with superheated steam. The reaction product is prepared in benzene heated to 80 DEG C., the resulting solution then being employed as the dyeing liquor.
