Abstract

891,304. Buoys. KIDDE CO. Ltd., WALTER. Oct. 31, 1960 [Nov. 5, 1959], No. 37633/59. Class 68(1). A sea marker comprises a ballasted inflatable float portion 11, 14, 15, 16 supporting an inflatable tubular framework 4 providing when inflated supporting points arranged in three dimensions for position-indicating means, e.g. a radar reflector 8. The embodiment shown may be modified by omitting the inflatable tubes 14 and fabric vanes 15 and securing the ballast weight directly to the foot of the tube 11. The inflatable rings 4 may also be replaced by five inflatable tubes extending from the top of the tube 11 in three co-ordinate directions. Specifications 861,726 and 891,303 are referred to.
