Class 120(2) [Also in Group XVIII] The ring travellers 9 of a spinning machine are each lubricated at timed intervals by separate adjustable measuring devices 8 connected in the supply line 7 from a lubricant pump 3. At intervals of, say, three minutes, a timer 5 opens a valve 6 to supply pressure to operate the pump and to close a valve 10 at the end of the supply line. The rise in pressure in the supply line operates the devices 8 to supply a small quantity of lubricant to each ring and after a predetermined interval the timer closes the valve 6 and the valve 10 relieves the pressure to a reservoir 2 so that the devices 8 reset themselves.
