[Also in Group XIII] An oil separator comprises a casing c, whirl vanes a in the inlet to the casing, a concave baffle b having its periphery spaced from the casing, and an outlet tube g projecting into a sleeve f fixed to the baffle. The collection of the oil is improved by a projection d on the baffle, gaps k, j in the sleeve and tube respectively, a tapered part i adjacent the gap j, and projections m on the interior of the casing.
