Abstract
886,729. Resistive coatings; semi-conductors. REGIE NATIONALE DES USINES RENAULT. April 2, 1958 [April 24, 1957], No. 10598/58. Class 37. [Also in Groups XXIII and XXVII] An enamel for coating the insulator between the electrodes of a surface discharge sparking- plug (see also Group XXVII) has the following composition: 5% <TiO 2 < 30%, 20% < BaO < 46%, 1%<B 2 O 3 <10%, 30%< Si0 2 < 45%, 0.5% < Al 2 O 3 <SP> </SP>< 3%, 1% < Na 2 O < 9%. After coating a baking step is carried out in a reducing or nitriding atmosphere. The coating has a high dielectric constant.
