Abstract
532,117. Insulators. BULLERS, Ltd., and HARRIS, G. H. July 8, 1939, No. 19978. [Class 36] To prevent corona discharges, an electric insulator has applied to certain parts of it by a firing process a fusible non-metallic composition of low conductivity. The composition may comprise 30 per cent. ceramic material or glaze 60 per cent. silicon carbide and 10 per cent. graphite, and may be applied by dipping, spraying or painting, the insulator then being fired. Specification 430,076 is referred to.
