Abstract

885,849. Valve amplifying circuits. LOEWE OPTA A.G. Sept. 5, 1958, No. 28509/58. Class 40(6). An amplifier having negative feedback which changes to positive feedback above a certain frequency is characterized in that the feedback path contains a resonant circuit and an additional phase shifting circuit. As shown, the amplifier has a feedback path which includes capacitors 8 and 9, potentiometer 10, and a parallel tuned circuit 5. The component values are adjusted such that the normally negative feedback goes positive about 1 kc./s. from the resonant frequency of the tuned circuit, which is in the order of 15 kc./s. A parallel C.R. network 13, 14 is included in series with the tuned circuit, and a switch 17 is adapted to short out either one or the other.
