883,535. Mudguards.LINDE'S EISMASCHINEN AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT ZWEIGNIEDERLASSUNG GULDNERMOTOREN-WERKE GES FUR. Aug. 11, 1959 [Aug. 26, 1958], No. 27434/59. Class 136(1). [Also in Group XXXII] A vehicle mudguard has a part 2 extending at least partly around the periphery of a wheel 1 and a side portion 4 extending towards the wheel axle 3, the peripheral part having a dished portion 6 which strengthens it and provides a seat and the mudguard being mounted on the vehicle at the end of its side portion remote from the peripheral part. The mudguard may be of metal or of synthetic material. If of metal, the thinner, dished part 2 is welded to the thicker side portion 4. A fixing plate 5 is provided for attachment to the axle 3.
