Abstract

785,039. Covers for motor-cycles. VELLACOTT, H. J. Sept. 22, 1955 [Sept. 24, 1954], No. 27673/54. Class 136(1) [Also in Group XXXII] A cover for a motor-vehicle comprises sheet material tailored to the shape of the vehicle and formed with an opening provided with fastening means such that when the fastening means is in the closed position the cover fits snugly over the vehicle with the edges of the cover so positioned that the cover cannot be removed from the vehicle. As shown a cover 1 for a motorcycle 2 so formed at one end with a slit adapted to be closed by a sliding clasp fastener 3. Eyelet holes 5 are provided for the attachment of a padlock 6. The material for the cover may be unbleached linen treated on the outer surface with powdered aluminium and on the inner surface treated with neoprene.
