In order to initially place the element 107 and the spring 116 in the body 101 the body cover 121 is divided as shown in Fig. 9 for subsequent swaying into a closed condition. In a modified slider the locking finger 114 is divided into two parts offset either side from the vertical central plane of the body 101 such that the spring 116 can pass between the parts. In a further modified form, instead of a single semi-cylindrical cam 124, there are provided two semi-cylindrical cams spaced apart to the same extent as the cam faces 118.
