876,355. Photolithographic procedure. RITZERFELD, W., and RITZERFELD, G. April 23, 1958 [May 9, 1957], No. 12856/58. Drawings to Specification. Class 98(2). A direct positive light - sensitive layer on a hydrophilic light-permeable layer or support is reflex-exposed imagewise, with interposition of a screen if desired, and the exposed lightsensitive material is removed, to result in a master sheet for direct lithographic printing. Transparent materials for use as layers and supports are quoted, and it is stated that suitable light-sensitive materials have been used in the Bromoil process and are disclosed in Specification 711,702; which latter is concerned with diazo sensitized gelatin layers.
