Class 98(1) In a camera having setting members for the diaphragm and shutter speed, the said members being coupled to coaxial ring elements which co-operate to control the follow-up member of an exposure meter, as in the parent Specification there is further provided separate adjustment between at least one of the setting members and its associated ring, so that further exposure factors may be allowed for. In Fig. 1 the shutter speed setting ring 3 is coupled to ring 9 which moves axially. The diaphragm setting ring 2 is coupled to ring 10, which is mounted on ring 9 and connected to it. The joint axial movement of rings 9 and 10 is transmitted by a pin 24 to the follow-up member of the exposure meter. In theparent Specification, the rings 9 and 10 are permanently coupled to their respective setting members, but in the present modification, either or both rings can be temporarily uncoupled from the corresponding setting member, and independently adjusted, thus allowing further exposure factors to be taken into account, such as film speed, or filter factors. Ring 10 is moved by a supporting ring 31, which is itself moved by a slide member 32. Within the member 32 is a spring- loaded screw 33 fixed to the ring 31. The lower part 32a of the member 32 engages in one of a series of detent recesses in the diaphragm setting ring 2. By gripping the slide member 32 and pulling upwards against the spring, the part 32a is released from engagement with the ring 2, and the rings 10 and 31 can then be rotated relatively to ring 2. A scale plate carrying a film-speed scale turns with the rings, reading against a fixed index mark. At the appropriate reading, the slide member 32 is released, so that it engages once more in one of the detent recesses in ring 2, thus once more coupling rings 10 and 2 together. The follow-up member of the exposure-meter is thus independently adjusted in a manner corresponding to the film speed.
