875,086. Pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes. KENDALL CO. March 18, 1959 [March 28, 1958], No. 9414/59. Class 140. A pressure-sensitive adhesive tape comprises a molecularly oriented polyethylene film backing which has been calendered between differential speed rolls and is constituted by a blend of low density polyethylene and high density polyethylene which contains not more than 50% high density polyethylene, coated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive on at least one surface.
