874,712. Glazing panelling. BAST GLAZING CLIPS Ltd. Sept. 8, 1959 [Sept. 8, 1958], No. 28742/58. Classes 20(3) and 20(4) [Also in Group XXV] Glass or other panels h are mounted on each side of the astragal g by means of a series of double-ended spring clips a mounted each in a hole c in the web f of the astragal g to project on either side thereof for the application around the ends of the clip with snap engagement of clamping rails i. The clip is formed of two channel actions a, b directed oppositely and connected at their bases by a strip d, the walls of the channel sections being corrugated to be engaged by barbs j on the interior surfaces of the rails i. The bases of the rails i may also be formed with extensions k the ends of which bear against the web f of the astragal.
