919,551. Walls, roofs and floors. STENGER, G. March 10, 1959 [March 11, 1958], No. 8211/59. Classes 20 (4) and 87 (1). A wall, roof or floor is composed of elongated channel members of frangible material, e.g. glass or thinwalled, light-weight concrete, said members being of simple section presenting plane flanges 2 extending at right angles to plane webs 1 and arranged with the flanges side-by-side, and elastic sealing or caulking strips 3 interposed between adjacently situated flanges and extending over the free edges of said flanges. The webs may be co-planar as in Fig. 1, or certain of the channel members may be inverted with respect to the others as in Fig. 2. Two rows of channel members may be provided, Fig. 3 (not shown), the channel members in one row having their channels open towards the channels in the other row to form a hollow structure.
