In curtain-walling, partitioning, doors or ceilings glass or other panels 42, Fig. 4, are positioned in a frame 27 by aluminium &c. glazing strips 40 snapping over headed ribs 31-34. The strip section 40 abutting the frame section only at regions located laterally to each side of the pair of lips 41. In a modification, the ribs are on the glazing strips. The frame member may comprise two channelshaped elements 28, 29 with tongue and groove engagements 35, 36, and may be connected together by self-tapping screws engaging internal ribs 45. In a modification, Fig. 1, the frame member 10 is in one piece with internal webs 17 replacing the ribs 45.
