Abstract

1281622 Metal door frames and doors STAHLWERKE SUDWESTFALEN AG 12 Aug 1970 [16 Aug 1969] 38812/70 Heading E1J A metal door jamb or wing frame member, e.g. of rolled steel sheet is of rectangular box cross-section having on one side, e.g. the wall side, a groove 5 of rectangular cross section and on the opposite side an external rib 6 bordering one side of an undercut groove 7 the other side of which is bordered by an outstanding rail or bar 9. Sealing strip of tubular form and made from synthetic material has a protuberance of suitable shape for fitting into the undercut groove 7. The adjacent frame member 3 of a wing may have a somewhat similar construction, with the confronting faces mirror images one of the other. As shown in Fig. 1 the wing frame member 3 is made up of two profiles and the jamb may be constructed in the same manner as the frame member 3 (Fig. 2). (Other modifications are shown in Figs. 3 and 4).
