Abstract

873,881. Ironing machines. ATELIERS DE CONSTRUCTION E. D'HOOGE S.P.R.L. April 15, 1959 [Jan. 12, 1959], No. 12716/59. Class 138 (2). The bed of a roller-and-concave bed ironing machine comprises a semi-cylindrical inner plate 16, and an outer plate 17 provided with a series of bulges 18 forming a multi-cellular heating chamber 23, all cells of which are interconnected. The plates 16, 17 are welded together at the bulges 18 and at 21, 22. Openings 25 lead to a condensate-collecting manifold 24.
