Abstract

873,728. Hopper agitators. THAYER SCALE CORPORATION. Sept. 15, 1959, No. 31406/59. Class 78 (1). A screen 14 is carried by bolts 18 secured to frame 26 which is carried by rubber bushings 20 mounted on the side of hopper 10, and is agitated by air vibrator 24 carried by the said frame. The vibrations of screen 14 are parallel to the side of the hopper and assist the discharge of material from the hopper and at the same time tend to scrape the side of the hopper free from caking material.
