A vibrating conveyer has a trough 1 supported resiliently at 7 by a countermass 2, the weight of which is made 4 X that of the trough by being filled with concrete, and the countermass 2 rests on rubber feet 35 and carries motor 18 which vibrates trough 1 via crank-rod 20. Unwanted vibrations in the countermass 2 are overcome by securing a concrete block 3 to the countermass removably as at 67. Specification 922,945 is referred to.
