Abstract

1,002,514. Vibrating conveyer. SPERRY RAND CORPORATION. May 28, 1962 [July 11, 1961], No. 20455/62. Heading B8A. A vibrating trough 36 is supported from base 10 carried by resilient pads 14, the support at 40 being by fixed length springs 40, and the support at 30 being by springs 42, the effective length of which can be varied by bolts 50 which take into slots 54 formed in framework 2 fixed to base 10. Framework 2 encloses electromagnetic motor 20 of which the armature 26 is carried by bolts 28 which secure springs 42 to port 30 of trough 36 and so as to cause the latter to vibrate.
