A trolley comprises a central frame 7 from which extend members 3, 4, which may be panels or panel supports, which fold upwardly against the frame, the supporting castors being carried by rods 10 which are slidably connected with members 3, 4 near the outer edges of the members and are pivoted at their upper ends to the frame so that folding the members 3, 4 causes the rods 10 to lie against the frame 7. A pair of upper table panels 1, 2 are linked to the lower members 3, 4 and are carried by hinges, the rods 10 being pivoted to the hinges at 15, 16 so that when the members 3, 4, and, consequently, the panels 1, 2, are folded the rods 10 are raised so that throughout the folding movement the castors lie in the same horizontal plane. When the members 3, 4 merely support pivoted table panels, the panels are pivoted at points spaced from the common pivot of members 3, 4 and pegs engage keyhole slots in members 3, 4 so that when both members and panels are folded they are locked in the upright position. Provision is made for supporting a tray or like article P from the upright 7 of the frame. A single piece of wire is bent to the shape shown in elevation in Fig. 18, the sections E embracing the upright 7, and is suspended from pegs X fixed to the upright. An ashtray may be accommodated in a handle attached to upright 7 for which purpose the handle is hinged so as to lie in a horizontal plane.
