Abstract
871,137 Reinforced concrete floors. RHEINBAU G.m.b.H. Dec. 18, 1959 [Dec. 24, 1958], No. 43137/59. Class 20(4) A reinforced concrete floor comprises, parallel lattice girders 1 Fig. 1, having footings 4, concrete shells 5 which rest with two opposite edges 6 on the footings of two adjacent girders and reinforcing irons 9 disposed transversely of the girders in spaces 8 formed between juxtaposed shells 5. The footings 4 may be concrete, and may be formed with steps on both sides to receive the edges 6 of the shells, Fig. 5 (not shown). In a modification, the footings may be strips 10, Fig. 4, of wood, synthetic plastic &c., stapled to the lower chords 3 of the girder. The concrete shells 5 may contain a steel mesh reinforcement, and may be provided with flanges which contact one another to form the spaces 8.
