Abstract
1339607 Reinforced concrete floors A BASTGEN 21 April 1971 10369/71 Heading E1W A ribbed reinforced concrete floor is constructed using permanent shuttering in the form of interconnected sheets with spaced, A, (Fig. 1) or adjacent, B, (Fig. 3) upwardlyopen trapezoidal channels formed therealong, a reinforcement mat 4 being welded thereto, with a reinforcement basket 5, 5a welded into each channel. A mixture of sheets A and B may be used for a floor (e.g. Fig. 7), and transverse ribs 8 or dependent beams 13 formed by the use of additional shuttering in the form of stop-end shutters (11, Fig. 6, not shown) and bottom shutters, e.g. 14, with interconnecting straps 16 for the sheets. Alternatively, (Fig. 5, not shown), holes may be cut in the sheets transversely of the floor shuttering so that, in effect, integral straps are formed.
