Abstract
870,719. Screening apparatus. BETEILIGUNGS-UND PATENTVERWALTUNGSGESSELLSCHAFT. April 22, 1959 [April 24, 1958; Aug. 30, 1958; Feb. 2, 1959], No. 13732/59. Class 117 A vibratory screening box is mounted on a base 100 by springs 9, and its side walls 1 are interconnected by a hollow transverse member 3 housing a counteroscillatory mass 4, 6 supported by leaf springs 5 attached to the side walls. The mass includes a hollow member 4 which houses and rotatably supports an unbalanced mass 6 driven by an electromotor via a pully 7, and the linear vibrations of the mass thereby produced are imparted to the walls of the screening box by buffers 8 e.g. of rubber. In Fig. 3 the side walls 10 of the screening box are interconnected by two hollow members 3T, 311, housing counter oscillatory masses 11<SP>1</SP>, 11<SP>11</SP> connected to the side walls by leaf springs 5<SP>1</SP>. The masses are interconnected at their ends by bars 12, and the box is vibrated by a rotating eccentric weight 13; the vibrations are transmitted to the masses by buffers 8<SP>1</SP>.
