Abstract

868,183. Rolling dough. WILLRICH, O. Dec. 8, 1959 [Dec. 12, 1958], No. 41606/59. Class 87(2). A dough-rolling machine comprises two sets of rollers 3, 4 arranged one above the other, each set extending in one plane, the clearance between the sets being adjustable in a direction towards the delivery end 6 and the rollers of the two sets being offset relative to one another. Each upper roller 3 is substantially central between two adjacent lower rollers 4 and preferably each lower roller, e.g. 4a, is in pressure contact with the upper roller e.g. 3a above and below it while out of contact with each upper roller, e.g. 3b. At least six rollers are in each set and a device 7 for sprinkling flour and a container 9 for dusting flour, to prevent sticking, are associated with the upper and lower sets of rollers. A bridge-like triangular guide member 8 may be arranged to direct the web of dough to the next roller, particularly where the web is thin, i.e. at the delivery end.
