Abstract

822,384. Packaging articles. SCHWEIZERISCHE INDUSTRIEGESSELSCHAFT April 5, 1957 [Sept. 21, 1956], No. 11272/57. Class 94(1). [Also in Group XXX] Magazine 1 is caused relatively to descend towards a container (not shown) on base 7, rollers 8 mounted on pivoted gates 5 of the magazine engaging a fixed abutment 9 to cause the gates to pivot and thereby release a pre-determined number of discs 3 from the magazine into the container. Adjustment of the height of abutment 9 above base 7 determines the number of discs (e.g. biscuits), deposited with each cycle of movement. Two or more pairs of gates 5 may be used and the different pairs may be mounted on the magazine at different levels.
