Abstract

867,897. Closure caps. S.E.B. ESTABLISHMENT. May 21, 1959 [May 23, 1958], No. 17343/59. Class 125(3). A cap of resilient material, for a bottle or similar container having a circumferential groove 2 near its rim, comprises a skirt 11 below a wall 6 having flexible sealing ribs 7 which seat on the bottle mouth, the skirt being formed with a bead 9 engaging in the groove 2, and a member 10 extending upwards from the wall 6 and serving as a lever for removing the cap from the bottle neck. A flexible lug 12, integrally moulded with the cap, is for suspending the bottle.
