866,633. Washing-machines. LADEN S.A. May 25, 1959 [May 23, 1958], No. 17667/59. Class 138 (2). [Also in Group XIII] A rotary drum 15 of a washing and/or spindrying machine is mounted for oscillation about a shaft 22 carried by a frame 1 which is capable of limited rolling motion on a base member 4. The frame 1 has arcuate runners (as 2) of large radius mounted in grooves (as 3) in the base 4. Springs 12 encircling bolts 7 fixed to the base 4 resiliently hold the frame in its centred position. Fig. 5 shows the connections between the drum housing 20, shaft 22 and frame 1. 26 is an annular rubber ring, and 33 is a bushing rotatably carried in a ring 34 carried by the frame 1.
