Abstract

865,244. Two-part couplings. PRESSAC Ltd. Oct. 12, 1959 [Dec. 3, 1958], No. 38951/58. Class 38 (1). In a multi-contact socket of the type comprising a cap 1 housing an inner insulating disc 3 carrying socket contacts 4 to which are connected wires passing through a channel-like side opening 2 in the cap, said opening and the mouth of the cap being closed by an outer disc 7 having holes which register with the sockets, the disc 7 and a radial tongue 7a thereon snap into a groove 8 formed adjacent the mouth of the cap and the opening 2 and retain the disc 3 in the cap against a shoulder 6.
