Abstract

1,094,569. Two-part couplings. AMP Inc. Feb. 23, 1966 [March 10, 1965], No. 7846/66. Heading H2E. Identical plastics housings 1 and 2 of an electrical connector each have plug and socket contacts 14, 15 respectively held in recessed and projecting portions by tongues (18) (Fig. 3, not shown), and may be secured together by the engagement of lances 7 and ears 9, or other complementary locking means, which extend from opposite sides of the housings 1, 2.
