Abstract
862,909. Rinsing and wringing machines. LOVELL MANUFACTURING CO. Dec. 29, 1959 [Jan. 26, 1959], No. 44074/59. Class 138 (2). Articles passing through a wringer are simultaneously rinsed by means of a nozzle 31 and deflector 33, the stream of water from the nozzle 31 being fanned out by a reversely curved section 37 of the deflector and discharged in a thin sheet tangentially against the upper roll 5 of the wringer. The nozzle 31 is connected to a water supply through a valve which in one position supplies water to a washing-machine on which the wringer is mounted. A water collector 12c leads to a drain-pipe 40.
