Abstract

862,662. Rotary compressors. CLAYTON DEWANDRE CO. Ltd. Aug. 28, 1959, No. 29452/59. Class 110 (2). In a rotary compressor of the outwardlysliding radial vane type the stator 1 and end covers 12 are made of aluminium and provided with a cast iron sleeve 2 and ferrous inserts 17, respectively. The vanes are made of fibre and slide in an aluminium rotor 4 drilled for lightness and balancing purposes. Oil is fed from a filter housing 30 through passages 33, 34 whilst a valve-controlled by-pass circuit 35 ... 40 is disposed in the stator establishing communication between the inlet and outlet ports 21, 25.
