Abstract

853,811. Gear pumps and motors. BOSCH G.m.b.H., R. Nov. 10, 1958 [Nov. 9, 1957], No. 35947/58. Class 110 (2). In a gear pump or motor, Figs. 1 and 3, the gear-wheels are disposed between a flanged end-plate 23 and two C-shaped resilient end - plates 41, 42. The shaft 13 of one gear-wheel has a through bore 47 and the shaft 18 of the other gear-wheel has a blind bore 48 terminating in an outlet 49 adjacent the shaft sealing-means 19. Cover dies 12 constituting a force fit in the pump housing define lubricating chambers 51, 52, 53 which are interconnected as shown. The member 23 is grooved to receive a seal 35 defining aT-shaped portion 37 communicating with the outlet zone of the pump through a bore 38. In a modification, Fig. 5, the end plates 61, 62 are provided with spring steel strips 63 and the shape of the end-plate 60 is somewhat modified.
