Abstract
852,746. Transistor circuits. FERNSEH, G.m.b.H. Sept. 23, 1957 [Sept. 22, 1956], No. 29785/57. Class 40(6). A transistor circuit comprises a resistor of ohmic type disposed so that its temperature is determined by that of the transistor and having such a temperature coefficient as to vary the base current of the transistor in a manner which maintains the collector current constant. The resistor may. be of copper wire wound directly on the transistor envelope or on a former which constitutes the mounting for the transistor. In Fig. 2 the resistor 12 is arranged in a bridge formation of biasing resistors 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 while in Fig. 1 (not shown) it is arranged in one arm of a potentiometer supplying the bias for the base electrode and connected across the collectoremitter supply. The load 23 may be a relay.
