Class 98(2) A lenticulated film may have a layer of higher refractive index than that of the lenticulations interposed between them and the light sensitive layer. However when the object is to decrease the curvature of the image surface, an additional layer having a flat outer surface may be applied over the lenticles and opaque strips T may be omitted if the lenticles are of parabolic profile. If the lenticles are externally concave (Fig. 3), the additional layer has a higher refractive index than the other, if convex (Fig. 2, not shown) vice-versa.
