Abstract
439,579. Photographic developing processes. WEST, A. G. D., and BAIRD TELEVISION, Ltd., 58, Victoria Street, Westminster. July 10, 1934, No. 20262. [Class 98 (ii)] [See also Group XL] An intermediate photographic record for television is produced by a reversal process. A dense negative is obtained by more than normal exposure and development and is reversed to give a record of low mean density. The maximum density is of the order of 0À8. The contrast of the image corresponds with a gamma materially less than unity. The processing of one part of the film and the exposure of another are effected simultaneously. Specification 412,126, [Group XL], is referred to.
