851,927. Drafting apparatus. T, M. M. (RESEARCH) Ltd. April 17, 1959, [April 28, 1958], No. 13446/58. Class 120(2). In textile drafting apparatus having at least one endless apron 14 passing round a roller 14 and a tenser bar 16 a subsidiary member preferably a rod 17. is adjustably mounted on the tenser bar 16 to displace the apron 14 in a direction normal to the path of the material being drafted to augment the pressure and hence the control on the material at that point. The member 17 is attached to the bar 16 by slotted terminal lugs and set screws, by reversible spring clips engaged over the edges of the bar 16 or by slotted clips and set screws, so as to be adjustable towards or away from the nip of the front rollers.
