850,905. Brush-holders for dynamo-electric machines. SCHUNK & EBE. G.m.b.H. April 9, 1959 [April 10, 1958], No. 12100/59. Class 35. A brush-holder for holding brushes 2, 3 in contact with a rotating electrical machine, comprises a two-armed lever 1 pivotally mounted at 5, one arm carrying a pressure member 7 which contacts the brushes through a ball 9 bearing in in a V-shaped notch 4 formed by the brushes bevelled upper edges. The pressure member, which may be conducting, passes through an insulating member 6 having a sleeve lining 8 and is free to slide with respect to sleeve and lever.
