831,646. Collecting gear for dynamo-electric machines. KETAYLtd. April 17, 1957 [April 20, 1956], No. 12085/56. Class 35. A slip-ring assembly for an electric machine rotor, e.g. of a synchro, comprises moulding an integral electrically-insulating synthetic resin body 14 between a plurality of mutually axiallyspaced slip-rings 9, 10 and between the sliprings and the machine rotor shaft 1 or an integral reduced diameter extension 6 thereof or a centre-pin (not shown), fixed to the shaft, the requisite conductor leads 3, 4 being embedded in the body which holds all the parts together and insulates the rings from each other and from the shaft &c. Each lead, covered with nylon insulation 8, is accommodated in grooves 11, 7 in the slip-rings and shaft &c. and is soldered to the respective ring grooves.
