Abstract
1,067,202. Making dynamo-electric machines. VYZKUMNY A VYVOJOVY USTAV ELEKTRICKYCH STROJU TOCIVYCH. March 17, 1965 [March 21, 1964], No. 11235/65. Heading B3A. [Also in Division H2] A laminated assembly for a dynamoelectric machine is made by winding a flat strip of steel into a cylindrical assembly either spirally as shown in Fig. 1 or helically (Fig. 2, not shown), securing the ends 1, 2 to the assembly, e.g. by welds 3, and forming slots 4 for the electrical conductors by electro-machining, e.g. electro-spark machining or electro-chemical hollowing. The slots 4 may be formed in one or both flat faces of the cylindrical assembly and may be radial or inclined (Fig. 1) or may be axial slots formed on the periphery of the assembly (Fig. 2, not shown).
