Abstract

1416827 Brush gear for dynamo electric machines DUCELLIER & CIE 9 March 1973 [17 March 1972] 11584/73 Heading H2A A brush holder assembly (Fig. 2, not shown) is formed by mating together two identical moulded synthetic resin parts 2, 3 such that two limbs 4, 5 on one part overlap two correspondingly opposite limbs 5, 4 on the other part, and a shoulder 5a on one part abuts a shoulder 4a en the other part, two semi-circular portions 6 of plates 14 interconnecting the limbs then forming a circular aperture (7, Fig. 2) for receiving a commutator (not illustrated). Brushes (not shown) are housed in integral cages 8 on the plates 14, and brush leads are clamped by integral flanges 10, 12 on the plates.
