Abstract

1314472 Springs SIEMENS AG 7 June 1971 [5 June 1970] 19300/71 Heading F2S [Also in Division H2] A spring for use in the stator of an electric machine (see Division H2) comprises a central portion 15 for engaging the inner surface of the stator housing, two resilient side portions 13 for engaging the side faces of two stator magnets and two resilient arms 16 for engaging end faces of the magnets. The spring is secured to the stator by a pin passing through a hole in the housing and through a selected one of an array of holes 19, 21, 22, in the spring, the material of the spring around the selected hole resiliently gripping the pin.
