[Also in Group XXXVI] An insulating tape for use in terminating or jointing electric cables is of fibrous material such as cotton, linen, jute or hessian impregnated with a mixture of synthetic resin and castor oil between the ratios by weight of 90%: 10% and 40%: 60% of resin to oil. The preferred resin is that known under the Registered Trade Mark " Vinsol," the preferred ratios being 70% resin and 30% castor oil.
