Abstract

850,258. Pneumatic conveyers. HAGGLUND & SONER A.B. March 18, 1959, No. 9404/59. Class 78 (1). Material is drawn into a pneumatic conveyer 8 through an inlet 9 in the undersurface of a U-tube 3, the vertical branches of which are secured in a disc 1 which rests on the material. A pipe 4 for compressed air is connected to one branch of the U-tube and is continued through the tube nearly to the top of the other branch where it ends in a nozzle 6. This nozzle is at the mouth of a cone 7 leading to the conduit 8. Holes 11 for the admission of extra air are provided in the tube 3.
