Class 20(4) A sheet metal &c. clip 11 has first and second snap action means 16, 19 for engaging in internal grooves 9, 10 in the side walls 6, 7 of an inverted channel section rib 5 upstanding from the plane of a metal &c. roofing or siding sheet 4. The clip 11 is secured to a purlin 23 by a screw 21 and is formed with a stop piece 17 which determines the distance between the base 15 of the clip and the snap action means 16 necessary for the snap action means 16 to engage in the groove 9. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 769,527.
