Abstract

847,161. Jigging conveyers. SIMON Ltd., H. Feb. 3, 1959 [Feb. 10, 1958], No. 4227/58. Class 78 (1). The vibrating spreader feeder 2 described in Specification 842,560 is in fixed association with a hopper 1 having a series of outlet ports 3 with separating barriers 4 therebetween on which are mounted hinged deflector plates 5. The plates are adjusted so that desired proportionate sections of the curtain of material discharged over the edge 10 may be directed to selected ports. The plates are secured in position by a clamping bar 8 and nuts 7.
