A transportable hopper 4, for feeding granular &o. material to a pneumatic conveyer suction line 10, has a duct 3 for withdrawing dust-laden air from the upper portion of the hopper. A hood 2 serves to retain the dust and prevents material from falling into the duct 3. A slidegate 11 controls the flow of material.
