846,457. Filters. PILLIN Ltd., J. B., and SPINKS, S. A. E. April 15, 1959, No. 12852/59. Class 46. A core 10 having grooves 11 with closed bottoms extending from one end to the other is helically grooved at 14 from the right hand end almost to the left hand end. A wire spring 15 is then wound upon it from the right, and the left hand end of the assemblage dipped in solder. Thereafter a cap 16 is soldered, welded or brazed to the right hand end. The assemblage is push-fitted into a delivery connection 18 and a casing 20 having an inlet connection 21 is screwed to the member 18.
